A highly energy-efficient house without a plastered facade, clad only with non-combustible VIROC cement-bonded particle boards on a ventilated grid. All tastefully complemented by wooden elements from Finnish Thermowood. Our solution, tested in Norway and France, is based on a diffusion-open building envelope using all available materials, which, when installed correctly, guarantee high-quality ventilation without increased condensation at critical points.
Thanks to the unique self-supporting perimeter wooden structure of the Ready House® with durable stabilizing corner elements, the internal plasterboard partitions can be changed at will without interfering with the structural integrity of the building itself.
The basic built area of this house is 95m2 - built on a concrete insulated slab or on concrete strips from lost formwork. To obtain a passively insulated house, all-aluminum window frames are used and the sliding doors are from the company K-LINE from Spain in triple glazing (double glazing is also possible in the case of placement in warmer areas). The energy label of this house is always in classification class A while maintaining our heating recommendations.

Technical description
-
The basic characteristics of the house are innovative, based of course on a wooden, so-called frame construction, which originated in the USA.
-
Our construction combines an improved composition of wooden elements.
-
Wood has good thermal insulation properties, insulates 7 times more than concrete, acts as a regulating element of ambient humidity and saves energy.
-
Wall, floor and ceiling beams are prefabricated in advance in production on CNC machines, with location markings according to the assembly plan.
-
We use our own production to prepare individual support posts and trusses to increase the statics and robustness of the structure, reducing the speed of assembly at the installation site.
-
Thanks to the prefabrication of parts and detailed construction instructions, construction costs are reduced and there is no need to build large foundations, the structure is relatively lightweight.

-
Surprisingly, with the right combination of wooden materials and the technology used to protect the wood, our houses are just as fire-resistant as conventional buildings.
-
Thanks to our experience abroad, we exclusively use EPDM roofing membranes for our flat roofs, which are manufactured in Belgium and are ready to be laid in one day. They are then simply covered with smooth stones (duckweed) or a green roof.
-
The ventilated facade on a self-supporting grid is very easy to install and can be implemented in any weather. The cement-bonded particle boards that we use for our houses are non-combustible - in the fire reaction class A2-s1.
-
For our house concept, water and heating distribution systems are installed in the pre-walls of the wall perimeters between CD/CW profiles and SDK boards.
-
Separate internal partitions 100mm thick are sufficient for these distributions. We recommend using the RADOPRESS system (AL / PE-X).
-
Electrical wiring is installed in the pre-walls of the wall perimeters between CD/CW profiles, plasterboard and internal partitions.
-
The main supply lines are preferably routed in the ceiling gap between the OSB cover and the profiles.
-
The frame combined structure is filled with Isover Woodsil stone insulation (alternatively with flexible wood fiber mat from Pavatex)
-
Wood fiber insulation is 300mm thick in the ceiling and floor parts, and 240mm thick in the walls around the perimeter of the envelope.
READY HOUSE 95
basic structure composition
HERTALAN® is a sustainable and high-quality EPDM membrane for waterproofing and airtightness. EPDM is a synthetic rubber with unique product properties, ideal for flat roofs, facades and gutters. Hertalan is BBA certified and has a lifespan of 50+ years.
Working with EPDM membranes has great advantages. The number of seams and the corresponding risks are reduced to an absolute minimum.
HERTALAN® easy cover EPDM membranes have excellent properties and are suitable for exposure to UV and ozone radiation without aging and can therefore be used as glued and mechanically fixed systems without the requirement for additional surface protection.

Facade cladding instead of plaster facade? YES!
-
VIROC® cement-bonded particle boards without surface treatment are fire-resistant and their classification according to the reaction to fire class according to the European standard EN 13 501-1 is A2-s1, d0 – non-combustible.
-
Cement-bonded particleboard is, thanks to its moisture resistance, the best material for humid environments and for exterior use.
-
Cement-bonded particle boards are ecological and environmentally friendly. They do not contain hazardous substances such as asbestos and formaldehyde, and are resistant to gasoline and oils.
-
Cement-bonded particle boards can be changed, removed and possibly drilled into without any problems.
-
Cement-bonded particle boards are more durable than plaster and their cladding is several times faster than the wet method of plastering a building. That is why the presence of a mason is not necessary, it is actually an assembly of boards of flat material with anchoring to a wooden grid via special screws with EPDM seals.
What is Thermowood?
-
a unique product of its kind, the creation of which was made possible by the revolutionary ThermoWood® wood heat treatment technology
-
products processed with this technology enable the successful use of wood materials of weaker dimensions from domestic (European) sources, with the fact that their useful properties and extended lifespan put them at the level of tropical wood species without the need to destroy tropical forests and endanger the ecological balance and the environment
-
The completely ecological ThermoWood® products supplied by us are manufactured at the Oy Lunawood Ltd. plant. in the city of Iisalmi (central Finland) and meet strict quality standards that are controlled by the Finnish ThermoWood® Manufacturers Association (abbreviation TWA)
-
input material comes from sustainably managed Finnish forests (PEFC certification)
-
it is mainly Nordic (Finnish) pine, because Nordic pine has much greater density, strength and hardness

Windows and doors
The designed windows and sliding doors are double-glazed in a minimalist aluminum frame from a branded manufacturer from Spain. They are mounted in a self-supporting frame, with intuitive patented opening and locking.
Why buy a low-energy Ready House?
-
The combined construction of the Ready House® eliminates thermal bridges, thanks to the use of glued wooden panels in the structure and strong insulation.
-
The technology with wood fiber insulation in thickness 240/300mm guarantees high thermal resistance compared to other construction technologies.
-
Our bioclimatic design of houses with wide terraces and roof overhangs reduces energy demands. This bioclimatic concept of our houses is based on 20 years of experience in building projects in Norway and France.
The main biosource of the structure is wood and natural wood fiber insulation.
-
Our Ready House® combined construction solution provides a low U-value (U > 0.15W/m .K │ R < 6 m .K/W)
-
Each builder will receive a comprehensive illustrated manual before the delivery of the prefabricated house.
-
To enable self-construction, we have developed methodological procedures with the help of IT that can monitor construction before it starts and during it.
Do you want to build a house yourself?
You can build Ready Houses yourself, or we can build them for you. If you decide to build them yourself, you will of course receive detailed instructions from us. It's like putting together a slightly more complex cabinet from a Scandinavian furniture store. Only it won't be delivered to you by a courier, but by a truck :-)
If you have a group of skilled craftsmen around you, it will certainly not be a problem for you to build your own home. There is nothing wrong with that, just go through the manual, take a few days off and you can live!
What we supply for self-assembly:
-
roof and wall structures (LVL-KVH, I-beams)
